Our story

Asian Mart is a family-operated Asian grocery store in Essex Junction, Vermont, near Burlington. First opened in 2012 and operated by our family since 2017, we are Vermont’s most diverse Asian market, offering Japanese, Korean, Thai, Filipino, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Indian groceries, alongside Caribbean and African foods.

Discover fresh fruits and vegetables delivered twice a week, fresh seafood, frozen meat and poultry, rice, flour, spices, ramen, noodles, sauces, and cooking pastes. We also make our own fresh kimchi and offer cooking classes to share the flavors and traditions we love.

Do you deliver groceries?

Yes. We deliver on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Delivery is $5.99, and free on orders of $75.00 or more. You can also order online for pickup or curbside pickup at the store. Call (802) 404-1343 to check if we deliver to your address.

Do you make your own kimchi?

Yes. We make Napa cabbage and daikon radish kimchi in Essex Junction, sold in 1 lb and 2 lb containers or by the case.

Can restaurants buy wholesale from Asian Mart?

Yes. Restaurants and food businesses can order case quantities on our website, save their order as a list, and reorder each week. Apply for a business account on the website or call the store.

Can you get an item you don't usually carry?

Ask in the store or call (802) 404-1343. We can often bring in items we don't usually stock.

What payment methods do you accept?

In the store we accept credit cards, debit cards, tap to pay (mobile wallets), and checks. Online orders are paid by card at checkout.
