Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Asian Mart LLC ("Asian Mart VT," "we," "us") handles information when you use this website, create an account, or place an order. The store is at 60D Pearl St, Essex Junction, VT 05452. Call us at (802) 310-1332 with privacy questions.

Information we collect

• Account. Name, email, phone, and password. Business accounts also include a business name and business type. You may upload a profile photo. Passwords are stored by our authentication provider, not as plain text in the storefront.
• Orders. The items you buy, quantities, prices, fulfillment choice (delivery, pickup, or curbside), delivery address, and a vehicle note if you choose curbside.
• Payment. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or card security code on our servers. Stripe receives the payment details needed to charge the card and prevent fraud.
• On your device. Your shopping list and in-progress checkout are saved in this browser so they are still there if you leave and come back.
• Technical data. We use your IP address to limit abusive requests to the site (for example, repeated signup or checkout attempts). We keep server logs needed to run and secure the store.

How we use it

• To create and secure your account, and to show business pricing when your account qualifies.
• To take payment, fulfill delivery, pickup, and curbside orders, and show your order history.
• To send receipts and account messages related to an order or your account.
• To prevent fraud, spam, and abuse, and to fix errors.
• To meet tax, accounting, and other legal duties.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run the store, and only for that purpose:

• Supabase — accounts, sign-in, and stored files such as profile photos.
• Stripe— card payments. Stripe's own privacy policy describes how they handle payment data.
• Our commerce system — product catalog, carts, and orders, hosted for this store.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the store, our customers, or our staff from fraud or harm.

Cookies

Sign-in uses strictly necessary cookies so your session stays active. Your list and checkout draft use browser storage on your device. These are required for the site to work. Because we do not run advertising or analytics trackers, we do not ask you to opt in to optional cookies. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in and checkout will not work if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is open and for the period we need them for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and customer support. You can ask us to delete an account by calling the store. We may retain records we are required to keep, including completed orders and payment references.

Your choices

• You can update your name, phone, and addresses from your account page.
• You can clear this site's data from your browser to remove the saved list on that device.
• You can request access to, or deletion of, the personal information we hold by calling (802) 310-1332.

If you are a California resident, you may ask what personal information we collected, whether we sold or shared it, and that we delete it, subject to exceptions in California law. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.

Children

This site is for shoppers and businesses placing orders. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy. The current version is always at this page.
